Bounjour tout le monde!!! Avez-vous passé une bonne semaine?
This week has been so so great! First off, we had exchanges in Paris. I really love being in the Paris Zone. I get to go there every week. Exchanges were really good. Our district is amazing!
After exchanges we had our baptism for Borris on Saturday! The baptism was really great. Borris loved it. He has such a big testimony. He is learning the years of each prophet and their lives so that he can tell people about our church. I could tell he knew that he was coming unto Christ. I love seeing people change.
On Sunday, we found out that all of our amis showed up to church! Such a great blessing. One family that we have been teaching (The Valija Family from Kosovo) came to church as well. They live an hour away from church and they don't have a car. How did they get to church you ask? I will tell you...members from Blois (2 hours south of Chartres) came and picked them up just to take them to church here. That was such a miracle because we have been trying to think of ways to get them to church! During church we got to give Borris the gift of the Holy Ghost. I felt the spirit so strong. I asked him after how he was feeling and he said he is feeling true happiness.
This week has been full of miracles! I know that God is doing all that he can to bring his children unto him. I am just glad that I can be his instrument in his work.
Next week I should know what is going to happen for the next transfer! I will let you guys know!
See you next week! I love you all so much!!!
Love,
Elder Evan Peterson
Evan said he teaches the family from Kosovo in French and they are from the town of Chateaudun. Evan's been told that he knows a lot of the French language for being out for so little.
First - We made Rootbeer Floats!!! So Good!!!
Second - Only way to keep up my artistic skills is to draw on my planner.
First - This is the family that we are teaching from Kosovo. They are so great!
Second - Baptism de Borris!!!!!!!! The guy in white is our Branch President!

Bounjour!
This week has been really good. We have been teaching a lot this week, which is always so great! We were able to contact our two referrals that we received last week.
The first ones name is Gwen. She has met those of every religion you can think of, from Jehovah Witnesses to Scientology. She has been searching for the truth for a long time. It just so happens that we have the truth! Hopefully she can realize the truth in our message. I think she will though.
The second one's name is Tracey and her husband, Samuel. They are from Nigeria. They speak English. It was actually hard to teach in English rather than French....haha. They asked us how do we know which is the right church. We told them you have to ask God just like Joseph Smith did. I feel really good about them as well because, like Gwen, they are searching for the truth.
We have seen so many miracles in Chartres. I can tell that the work is moving forward than ever before.
This week Borris is getting baptized which is going to be totally awesome!
Love you all! Au revoir!

I asked Evan about the youth in his branch there and there are only about 10 young men & young women. Sadly, a couple of things that Evan is really good at they don't have: basketball courts and a branch choir. They do get to go home teaching. They contact at least 4 hours a day. Transfers are on March 5th and he said he mostly likely would stay in Chartres.

Hello Everyone!!!
I hope everything is going amazingly well!! This week has been great for me! To start off me and my MTC group did Legality for France on Tuesday! We had to do the usual cup sample (haha) again and they did an x-ray of our chest. Now I am legal in France! Then after that we got to finally see the Eiffel Tower!
We have been teaching Borice a lot. Sadly we had to move his baptism to the 22nd because he has finally found some work on the 15th. But he knows it is true. He is doing everything we ask him. It is going so well!
Also, this week we helped one of our amis (the one that is going to be baptized with her son) paint her new house. It was a lot of hard work. I got all the tall places since I was the only one able to reach up there. haha
Time has gone by so fast. Transfers are on March 5th! On Sunday we got 2 referrals!!! It was crazy! So we are going to be giving more lessons! We have seen so many miracles out here!
Love you all!!!

Bounjour ma famille et mes amis, ça va?? Bien!
This week has been a blast and very busy! We had a conference with Elder Kearon, one of the Seventy! It was truly amazing! We talked about finding people and the spirit was there so strong! It is sad that President Poznanski and his wife are being released in July. But I can't wait for the next President and his wife to come in. They are from Evry, France!
Later on this week we have been teaching our ami, Borice, a lot! He is like the most Golden investigator you can find. He has almost read the whole Book of Mormon, all of the Liahonas we have given him, and he has been saying he wants to go to General Conference. We have only been teaching him for a couple of weeks! The best thing that can happen in lessons is when the investigator bares their testimony. That is when they truly know. Guess what?? We have committed him to baptism on the 15th of February and he accepted! So hopefully the situation changes with our other ami! We are helping her move out of her old house and paint her new one this week! She and her son will be baptized on March 1st!
The most thing that brings me joy is just seeing people change and come closer to God. I love seeing that in me too. I have seen so many miracles in Chartres. Just seeing so many people come unto Christ is just amazing!!! Sundays we teach a class for amis and recent converts about gospel principles. So far all of our amis are showing up to church. That is such a huge miracle because that really doesn't usually happen. The members here in France are making a huge difference! I love it out here! Time is flying by so fast!!!
Until next week!!! I love you all!

Bonjour tout le monde!!!
This week has been really good. Sadly Elder Miller and I have been sick with something. I have no idea what. haha So I had a lot of time to think and read the scriptures. I love the scriptures, they are so amazing. Everytime I read them I feel the spirit.
Other than being sick, we got to teach Borice a lot. He is doing to good. He reads everything we give him and He has asked us so many questions. One that stood out to me was "how can I repent?" It is amazing to see the gospel change peoples lives. It is amazing to see people have a desire to change and come closer to their Savior. I know that God lives and I know that he sent his son to die for us so that we can all come closer to God and eventually live with him again.
I hope everything is going well with you guys. I love you all!!!!
à bientôt!!!
